In the seventh episode of All About Your Benjamins The Podcast I’m joined by Tim Mullooly, one the fearsome foursome at Mullooly Asset Management. Tim works alongside his father Tom and his brothers Brendan and Casey–you’ll be hearing more from the Mullooly clan in the future. I recently was a guest on Tim’s podcast, Living With Money, and I asked him to join me on AAYB to continue our conversation into a deeper discussion about the foundations of a financial plan.
Many individuals are approached by “financial advisors” claiming to offer financial planning when in reality it becomes a sales pitch or only asset management. Tim and I cover the areas you should have addressed when working with a financial advisor to create your financial plan. If some of these topics are new to you, then it may be time to revisit your plan and possibly your financial advisor. It was a great conversation and I think it will be helpful to those wanting to get started on their financial planning, but not quite sure where to start.
