Talkin’ Shop: Andrew Thrasher and The 10 Year Anniversary of The GFC

Ten years ago this week it appeared our financial system was about to collapse; Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy, Bank of America purchased Merrill Lynch, and AIG had to be bailed out by the U.S. government and taxpayers–all of that occurred on just Monday and Tuesday. I asked my pal, Andrew Thrasher, to stop by on the way to the gym to talk about what he remembers from that week and how it impacted his career; if you missed it, check below for his great written recount of the time.

We’ve come a long way since September 2008 and hopefully, we have learned from past mistakes and will avoid another financial meltdown–hopefully!

If you’re an advisor and will be passing through the Indianapolis area, hit me up on Twitter and I’d love to have you swing by for another episode of Talkin’ Shop!
