Last year Franqlin Gatson (and his adorable son Franqlin) joined me on an episode of Talkin’ Shop to talk about his path from college athlete to a personal trainer to eventually a financial advisor. We’ve stayed in touch and I went to his gym this week to have him put me through a workout–he was not easy on me and to get an update on how his first semester went, along with some thoughts about the markets from the perspective of a student and someone just gaining his first exposure to investing.
As you’ll see, we also finalized the details for Franqlin to begin interning with me beginning February. I’m excited to have him in the office a couple days a week and hopefully, I can help him get a better understanding of what it’s like being a financial advisor.
