Last week I hosted a Zoom video conference with over 20 financial advisors (although the information is applicable to everyone) showing how easy it is to edit videos; I’m an advocate of using video to help tell your story, no matter your profession, and help develop your personal brand. One way to step up the quality of your video is to make sure the audio is on point.
In addition to my love of video, I realize voice technology is the future, so even if you aren’t comfortable in front of the camera there’s a need to produce quality audio to communicate with your clients (or prospects). I know enough to be dangerous when it comes to audio, but my friend Nyle Bayer is an expert in this area. Nyle is the Chief Marketing Officer at Helios Quantitative Research and is highly qualified to talk about audio and enhancing quality.
In this episode of Talkin’ Shop Nyle and I discuss why we think audio is so important to incorporate in marketing efforts, the equipment you’ll want to invest in, and some tips and tricks to improve your audio to sound better than 90% of what’s out there. You’ll be surprised how easy it is to up your audio game to sound as good as the pros!
We also manage to find a little time, in the end, to talk about Nyle’s efforts in his new role at Helios, along with an estate planning tool they have rolled out.
